KJoi Designer Contest

I have entered yet another designer contest. Found out today, no one is getting kicked out, so I have to go through all 4 rounds. My first project ended up in an entirely different direction than my first tries, so I see another mini-kit sometime soon with the first group of stuff.

Stop by for some freebies.
PS - I can't tell you which one I am, but vote for me anyway!

New Animals

We have a very small farm. This past week, we bought 2 new goats to bring to a total of 4. Also our first chickens and Guinea since moving to Missouri. The birds have not been doing well in the heat and the goats are lonely for their larger herd, but the are settling in. The layout is at Digitals for the Calendar Challenge.

First kit for sale

My first full kit is available for sale at Digital Craft Cottage. (store)
I love the school bus yellow along with the subdued red and green. I'm already thinking of add on pieces and more as I create LOs using this versatile kit.

First Template!!!

I have made my first template.

I have recently been fascinated by word books and thought, maybe I can make one. AND I DID! I have done my testing this morning, and a little revising. It is ready to be testing by someone else. If you use this to create an album, please tell me about it, leave a link to the photo, at least tell me if it works.

Just a little memory sharing

A little fun passed on from DeDe Smith:

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together.
It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! And to my ONLINE SCRAPBOOKING FRIENDS - we've had lots of fun together in our crops and such...so I say that counts too!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

3. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. HAVE FUN!

Been a few months, need to update!
Personal:
Not only off from teaching for the summer, but job hunting. Living with my sister and doing things neither of us had time for like, cleaning out the garage, listing stuff on our Half store, etc.
Scrapping:
Got on the Scrap Professor CT team last week. I'm so excited.
Also found Digital Craft Cottage. Looks like a fun place. The LO is Christmas tags from DCC Down Home Christmas team kit for the Christmas Tag Exchange. Check out the other entries and try it yourself.

Cat book

The Christmas rush is over and I am settling back into the school routine (blah).
I have had some chances to get back to scrapping. A while ago I started a cat book that will eventually contain pictures of the cats my sister and I have shared quarters with for the last 15 years.
Here are Faith and Hope, 2 little strays the girl brought home from church one Wednesday night many years ago. Hope died several years ago, but the beautiful Faith is as shy as ever.

Kit: Acorn Designs' Tigger

Digitals' CT

I finally got onto Digitals' Store CT! This month I am working with DeDe Smith, famous for her Tearz. Here is one of the layouts I made with the Bundled Up kit. See the other's at my Digitals' gallery.
