More from K*Joi contest

K*Joi is back in full swing with weeks 1-3 available for download. The more of mine you download, the more points I get - but I can't tell you which one is me ;)
I can tell you there are many excellent kits - coordinated to 3 color schemes. I have made an add-on for week 2 with 3 papers, a frame, some word art and clips. Download from 4shared.
Stay tuned for the blog hop with more freebies from the participants.

Pedigree QP

Sorry so little freebies with this round at SAS. It has been a busy week in my non-scrapping world. Still looking for something to pay the bills. I have had this quick page in mind, so I put it together to send along. download
If you haven't voted yet, there is still time, at least until Thurs evening, maybe longer because there were some difficulties before and during this time. (must be logged in)

Wordle Fun

I spent too much time at Wordle today, but you get a free paper for it. I also made a paper from an old photograph of some unknown ancestor family. I played a lot with some buttons because I plan on making some button clusters, but here is one set using the color scheme provided in the SAS contest. I also put in a slide frame and a filmstrip. Again - don't know what I am going to use in the final kit. I do need to make some more papers. Download this part at 4shared.
Tomorrow come back for the full kit.

Name My Kit

Been tossing around ideas for the name of my kit. My sister is leaning toward something with shoebox in it. I'm singing "misty, water-colored memories ... of the way we were. Please make a suggestion as you are downloading the part of the kit.
As with the last post, these are just parts I am playing with. They may or may not make the final cut when I assemble the kit on Monday for posting at Stone Accent Studios. This part contains a photo album cover, 3 raffia wraps, and 3 flowers. The final paper is a pile of photographs from an album my father inherited, mostly cousins.

Download at 4 shared. - don't forget to leave a suggestion.

SAS week 3 - Heritage

By a lot of bad luck for other people, I managed to stay in the SAS Designer contest. This week's topic, however, I feel that I can really run with. I have created a few pages and elements already. These may or may not make the final cut into the full kit. Leave a comment and tell me.
The street scene is where my dad grew up and the frame is from an old photo album.

Butterfly Garden - BB QP

Not a lot of time today, but I did promise a freebie a day until I am pushed of of designer island at SAS. I need some more journaling space, so I created some simple labels. So in this installment you get: 2 blue Brag Book Quick Pages and 4 labels in this week's colors.

So if I am going to stay on the island I need a few more votes at SAS {need to be registered to vote or download my original kit} preview 1 & preview 2

Today's at 4shared!

Butterfly Garden - Another Add-On

I promised a freebie a day, so here are the gingham's I thought of sitting quietly in church. (Not where my mind should have been, I know). The bows just wouldn't fit into the limitations of the kit.
One of the other contestants made brag book quick pages - mulling that in my mind for tomorrow...hmm.
In the meantime - go vote for me at SAS {need to be registered to vote or download my original kit} preview 1 & preview 2

Butterfly Garden - First Freebie

When I was designing the Butterfly Garden kit, I thought they said recolors didn't count, so I was going hog wide. Here is one of the patterns I came up with. I put it on the paper, clip and prongs. I thought putting them on the ribbons was overkill. I created the ribbons to offset the butterfly overload.

Be sure to head over to my SAS Gallery and download the big kit and vote for me - must be registered.

SAS week 2

In week two, the tormentors gave us a color scheme, but let us free on the topic. We had to make to previews but I have jammed it all into here. The kit has 32 pieces in all: 12 papers, 1 quick page, 9 flowers, 4 journaling notes, 1 shaker, 1 frame, 2 ribbons, 1 bow and a clip.

Check out the less jammed previews at SAS:
preview 1 & preview 2
The 4 shared links are on those pages.

Layout with Police Heros

I was encouraged to create a layout using my kit and now I know why. While making the layout, I was thinking, "Gee, I could use a ..."

So the list includes: a badge frame, Crime Scene ribbon, tag set (who, what, when, where), magnifying glass, microscope, "who done it" word art ... taking suggestions.

In case you missed it, the second extra set is at 4shared and the whole kit is available through my gallery at Stone Accent Studios.

Police Kit

Well, here it is! I kept dreaming up more elements. I wish I had more time. When I make the kit to sell, there will be more real elements and more papers - had a tough time with papers for this.

The voting hasn't started yet, but you can see the entries at SAS.

Police Sampler

I have joined yet another contest: this time at Stone Accent Studios.

For the upcoming kit, I had to create my own notepad element, so I am giving it away early with a few other things I needed to test. The notepad I photographed myself and cut down all the fluff around it.I thought it could be used as a journaling space. Looking forward to your feedback.

Come back for the full kit in a few days.

500 Downloads

I am so excited. By putting my Birthday kit on the freebie lists (Digifree and DigiScrapDepot), my kit was downloaded over 500 times. My CUTE template has been downloaded over 60 times.

Thanks to all who left comments!

I do plan on making a few more of the printables. I need 4 letter words. I already have planned BFF!, LOVE, BABY. Any other suggestions?

Mostly Done

My next project - in between all the contests - is to create a brag book sized series called Mostly Done. I personally do not like QuickPages or Ploppers, where all you do is put the picture behind an already finished page and maybe add a title and journaling. Mostly Done will provide a brag book page that is almost finished along with a few elements that you can place wherever. This idea will allow you to complete multiple pages from the same mini-kit that look like an album, yet not identical.

My first set will be a school years album. I welcome any other ideas ... birthday ...
