Church Youth Program

I am excited about the new youth program from the church even though I don't have a youth or a calling to teach the youth right now. I am studying using the program already. The program is called "Come Follow Me" and more info can be found on the church web site. If I were teaching, I would provide thoughts for them to think about and space to respond by writing or drawing. I started out using the composition book as a base, art journal style, but think that a regular 3 ring binder allows more flexibility. Now I need to buy/make the 12 cover/tabed pages. In the meantime, I have the first 2 pages of The Godhead done (January's topic). Print these out, punch holes and let them study. At the end of the year- they will have a treasure of talk topics.
I will add more pages as I continue my study, maybe some more next year.
If you are looking for something to decorate the walls, see LDS Handouts and more hidden among my pins on my pintrest religion board.

LDS Christmas Blog Train

It has been a while since I joined a blog train.
Join me in celebrating Christmas Blessing. Here is the quote ""...we do not need a Christmas holiday or Christmas traditions to remember Jesus Christ, our Savior. But the celebrations of Christmas can help remind us of Him. The hallowed Christmas season can be an opportunity to recommit to keep the fire of the Spirit and the glory of the Son of God burning in our hearts every day throughout the year." (I'll get the source when I am more awake.
