Another Color Challenge

Maybe someday I'll actually get a real kit done, In the mean time I finished up this one for the Moo Two Paint the Barn Color Challenge and the one for the LDS blog train (leaving the station on 15 June. Coupon code and link the store are in the forum linked above.

Looking for suggestions. I'll give you a copy of whatever you suggest if I include it in the full kit.

Pinterest Headband Try

I have a gi-normous collection of things to do on Pinterest. I tried a few on the last weekend. I tried the Knotted Jersey headband.
The bottom is my first try ... FAIL! but I tried again with success. I hot glued another strand under because I was going to braid, but the did not look good. The second reason I added a strand was that the original did not fit around my head. I also had thought to add a bit of elastic between the ends for a quick slip on, but the ends were long enough to tie and it does stretch a bit.

Family Travels: Another Pinterest Try

I have attempted another Pinterest inspired family thingy. Our family has traveled a great deal and when you add in the in-laws, we start filling the map. So that is what I have started. I will have 6x4 scrapped family groups from various times around the outside creating a frame. Inside small (8 to a 4x6) events that are linked to locations.
Still tossing around how much information to include on the smaller cards - (how much can be read at 3 paces?)
Starting on the next round soon.
